About · Why this exists

Psychology you can try,
not just read.

Our rule
A result is a clue, not a conclusion.
The problem

Most test sites hide your result behind an email form, sell a “certified” score, or hand you a label that sounds like a diagnosis. You leave knowing a word about yourself, but not what it means, or how much to trust it.

Our answer

KnowPsyche puts the test first, shows every score, and explains the psychology behind it: what the task measures, what it can't, and where to read more.

Six promises

What you can count on.

01

Free, no email gate

Every result is shown in full, straight away. No sign-up, no paywall.

02

Your answers stay with you

Tests are scored inside your browser. We never receive your answers or scores. If you choose to save a result, it stays on your device.

03

Explain, don't label

Each result comes with what it means, what it doesn't, and how context changes it.

04

Original questions

Written by us, never copied from paid tests.

05

Never a diagnosis

We don't test for clinical conditions or hand out “certified IQ” scores.

06

Cite and correct

Sources are listed on each page. Spot a mistake? Tell us and we fix it.

What we believe

Three things we believe.

01

A result is a starting point.

A short test shows how you did on one day. It can open a good question about yourself. It can't settle it.

02

Plain words beat labels.

If a result needs a glossary, it hasn't done its job. We explain what it means, what it doesn't, and what could change it.

03

You stay in control.

No account, no email, no tricks. Your answers stay in your browser, and you can leave any time.

How we make a test

From research to result.

  1. 01

    Start from published research.

We pick an idea psychologists have studied for a long time, like reaction time or the Stroop effect.

  2. 02

    Write original questions.

Tasks and statements are our own. Nothing is copied from paid tests.

  3. 03

    Score it in your browser.

The maths runs on your device, so there is nothing to send.

  4. 04

    Explain it, and cite it.

Every result says what it means and what it doesn't, and every page lists its sources.

What we won't do

  • Sell your data, or ask for your email to see a result.
  • Call anything a diagnosis, or hand out a certified IQ.
  • Rank you against other people with made-up percentages.
  • Use streaks, fake timers or pressure to keep you here.

What's next

More tests and more plain-English guides are on the way. If there is a test you would like to see, or something here looks wrong, tell us.

Who is behind this

An independent project, built out of curiosity.

Hi, I'm Dev. I'm a commerce student in Kolkata, specialising in marketing, and I build small, free web tools on the side.

Studying marketing showed me how easily the mind can be nudged. That made me curious about how it really works, and it's why KnowPsyche uses psychology only to make things clearer, never to push you. I built it because I wanted a place where trying a test is the start of understanding, not the end of it.

I'm not a psychologist. Every test is built from published research, and each page lists its sources so you can check the work. KnowPsyche is not a clinic and has no connection to any test publisher.

Why it's free

KnowPsyche is free and shows no ads right now. If we add ads later, they will sit around the content, never inside a test while you're taking it. We don't sell personal data, and your test answers never leave your browser.
